The affairs of the Association shall be managed by a Committee comprising the following: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Planning Liaison, Communications Officer, Website Manager. For more information on how WCARA Committee works, please review our Constitution.
All of our Committee Members are volunteers, some of us were born in the area, some have lived here for more than 50 years, some have even left the area and come back to live here again. We come from all backgrounds, and one thing we all have in common, is that we are passionate about the area in which we live.
We still have open committee positions, and also looking Street Reps. You don't need special skills, just be passionate about where you live. None of us have experience in setting up and running a residents' association or have all the answers, we are learning and could learn more and faster with your support. We also believe we can be more powerful as a residents association representing the views of our neighbours. us to make a difference.
