Over 200 Alperton & Wembley Central packed into Lyon Park Primary School on Monday 18th March. It was a lively affair with residents calling for tougher action on offenders who spit Paan and Guthka on our roads. We were joined by Councillor Butt (Leader of Brent Council), Councillor Luke Patterson (Wembley Central), Councillor James Allie (Alperton), Councillor Trupti Sangani (Alperton), Cllr Bhagwanji Chohan (Alperton).

There was a call for levy on sellers and tough enforcement from Brent on those who spit on our roads. It costs Brent Council £30,000 per year to jet wash the stains from this disgusting behaviour by some residents.

We learnt about Infrastructure Improvements (Roads and Pavements) around the Alperton Areas. We also heard from Anthony Angol (FA Community) about a wonderful opportunity to volunteer for Euro 2020. Finally we learnt about an ambitious project to make Wembley the first Plastic Free Town in the UK.

We will follow-up with detailed minutes in due course
